Cindy Tsz-nga KO is currently a final year
LLB student at the City University of Hong
Kong. She is working as a part-time research
assistant on the project, ‘Responding to
Modern Genocide: At the Confluence of Law
and Politics’. From her educational pursuits
and work experiences, Cindy has developed
an interest in human rights advocacy and
international criminal law. She would like
to thank Dr. Surya DEVA, her Law Review
supervisor, who offered great guidance and
support in completing the project.

BRAR Harprabdeep Singh is currently studying
for the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws
degree at the University of Hong Kong while
working part-time in international arbitration
for Neil Kaplan QC. He earned his first degree
in Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honors) in
the City University of Hong Kong in 2012.
His research interests include international
commercial arbitration and conflict of laws.

Louie Ka-hang CHAN is a student of the
Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at City
University of Hong Kong. He earned his first
degree in Laws in City University of Hong
Kong in 2012 (with First Class Honours). His
research interests include Public International
Law, International Human Rights Law and
International Humanitarian Law. He is grateful
to Dr. Mark D. KIELSGARD, his supervisor,

Eutonia Yuen-tung CHEN is currently studying
Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in City
University of Hong Kong and will become a
Trainee Solicitor in September 2013. She
earned a degree in Laws (minor in Psychology)
with First Class Honours in CityU last year. Her
research interests include Criminal Law and
Corporate Law. She likes to thank Mr. Michael
JENKINS, Senior Teaching Fellow, her parents,
