Shirley Tsun-yi PANG is currently working in
a talent management company as a Senior
Associate. Her major duties include providing
executive secretarial support to director. She
earned her first degree in Linguistics and
Language Technology in City University of Hong
Kong in 2012. Her research interests include text
linguistics and pragmatics. She likes to thank
Prof. Jonathan WEBSTER, her supervisor, for his
advice and invaluable support in this project.
Margaret Valerie WEBSTER lives in Hong
Kong, where she combines freelance writing
with studying for an MFA in Creative Writing
at City University of Hong Kong. She holds a
BA (Honours) in English and Drama from Kent
University (UK) and a BA (First Class Honours)
in English and Creative Writing from Murdoch
University (Australia). Her book The Weather
of Tongues (Sunline Press, 2011) won the
Fellowship of Australian Writers’ Anne Elder
Award for the best debut collection of poetry.
